we are not making music - it may be boring and that is ok - don't have ideas about what would be "good"

Radio, live transmission Radio, live transmission Listen to the silence, let it ring on Eyes, dark grey lenses frightened of the sun We would have a fine time living in the night Left to blind destruction, waiting for our sight And we would go on as though nothing was wrong And hide from these days we remained all alone Staying in the same place, just staying out the time Touching from a distance, further all the time Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Well I could call out when the going gets tough The things that we've learnt are no longer enough No language, just sound, that's all we need know To synchronise love to the beat of the show And we could dance Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio Dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, to the radio (https://youtu.be/6dBt3mJtgJc)

Curt: This Duran Duran refrain comes to mind (as it often does):
I'm talking for free, I can't stop myself, it's a new religion
I've something to see, I can't help myself, it's a new religion
new religion, new romantics, new language

1 > C: Personally enjoyed that one. I felt actively engaged throughout. My constraint was to try to communicate with someone from another planet without using any earthly languages. Then halfway through, the goal changed to: try to combine and evolve all the languages I was hearing. A: It was stressful not to be able to connect before. I felt a bit dislocated. Did my best to stay with my triggers. I would open my arms and be silent when I heard Curt "brabbel" (Dutch word for chatter, parley, child's talk), I will brabbel myself (always being short) when I like to - trying to choose a different tone every time I do - I will use my hands to help the brabbel, I will turn my back to the webcam when things are soft, I will put my hands on my ears when I hear an annoying sound. All very subjective triggers. Over time I forgot some (as always). There was a point I felt we had "it" - losing time and space in the event - and that agrees with my feeling this one was way, way too short when it stopped.
2 > the attunement is crucial to the performance.
3 > happy happy happy - waves entangling waves - self organised chaos - courtesy - synchronised love to the beat of the show - fearless - becoming part of something bigger
Last and First Men (Jóhann Jóhannsson, 2020, 70')
After the end,
events unknowable will continue
in a time much longer than that which
will have passed since the beginning.
The whole duration of humanity,
its evolution and many successive species,
is but a flash
in the lifetime of the cosmos.
;
The normal power of telepathic
communication is now so unreliable
that we have been compelled to fall back upon
the archaic practice of vocal symbolism.
