We all feared this meeting. We all were happy with it. Daniel was still with us, moving forward.
It was very much about our interpersonal gutsy relationships.
We might not reach the technical and artistic standards for a vocal ensemble, but we are one. One, based on differences, including environmental, focusing on listening and collectively composing improvisationally.
Attunement: Eva Maria Houben here.here | Social Virtuosity https://youtu.be/0LH4yHDzE74.
"One of my more memorable experiences on the trip was witnessing the first in person performance of the utterings. How I would describe the utterings is a free flowing vocal expression of the subconscious. This reminded me of Constança describing herself primarily as a mammal. The utterings felt animalistic and raw without any conscious overthinking. While watching, what I was reminded of was a singular moment from my childhood when I heard my dad “speaking in tongues” at church. This was different in the sense that my dad was focused primarily on worship and the utterings were unrelated to any form of god from my knowledge, not to say they weren’t spiritual in any way for any of the band members. What I found similar were the sounds that were being produced as well as the complete relinquishment of anything other than the present moment as well as any self consciousness. This high level of openness and vulnerability that was shared opened me up to many emotions. At times I laughed, felt uncomfortable, and even got a little scared. None of these feelings were felt in a negative way, more of just a natural reaction to the raw and unapologetic nature of the event. In this way I could make a comparison to the art in 'Everything is True - Nothing is Permitted' in Brutus from Rotterdam. The openness to perform so freely, especially in the performance art shown, possessed some of the same raw and unapologetic qualities as the utterings. It felt like the artists involved in both shows refused to compromise on their vision for viewers in any sense when creating."

Very first?
Maybe not. Annie and Daniel performed live on 29/06 2023 during "Colliding Interfaces" in Faro, Portugal.
